Introducing the GPSCoordinates Collection. First off, what does GPS coordinates mean? In short, GPS coordinates are a set of numbers that pinpoint a specific location on Earth using the Global Positioning System (GPS). They are typically expressed in latitude (how far north or south of the equator) and longitude (how far east or west of the prime meridian). For example, a coordinate like 47.6205° N, 122.3493° W represents a unique spot - such as a scenic viewpoint - anywhere in the world.
NOTE: When entering these decimals into your mapping apps, there is no need to enter in the degree symbol. The example of coordinates (above) would be typed in to your map app like this: “47.6205N, 122.3493W”
So, the GPS Coordinates Collection is a collection of expressive landscape paintings inspired by real places - each piece rooted in a specific moment and viewpoint. Each GPS Coordinate Collection print is customized with its GPS coordinates, linking the artwork directly to the location that sparked its creation. This collection invites you to explore the emotional spirit of a place, blending vivid color with geographical truth. About the Artist
Tina was raised in the lush, evergreen landscapes of the Pacific Northwest, where her love for the outdoors was born. Now in retirement, she cherishes even more the joy of hiking forest trails, mountain biking scenic single‑track, snowboarding alpine slopes, and paddle‑boarding on smooth, clear waters. In 2023, as a self-taught, creative artist, she started painting landscapes and experimenting with fluid-flow painting and by 2025, with encouragement of friends and family, she launched into the excitement of starting her own art business, Shore To Summit Art LLC. Now she shares her passions of transforming landscapes and wildlife into expressive, sometimes unexpected colors that pop and glow, energetic water, and dramatic skies.
Most of Tina’s inspiration is through the exploration and adventures of the natural playgrounds of the West Coast, Montana, Alaska and Canada. Travels to the East Coast, Europe, and warm, tropical locations add an exciting change to scenery, colors, and textures. In these early years of exploring artistic styles and techniques, Tina has not settled on a specific style but texture and vivid, flowing, color in water and skies seem to be a predominant characteristic.
Perhaps the art Tina shares will touch you on an emotional level, bringing you a feeling of calm, joy, escape, peace or exhilaration. Or maybe you will recognize a landmark where you will recall fond memories and favorite stories associated with these locations. Art Market Season!

As the summer art market season approaches, I’m excited to dive into creating more products for this 2026 season.
I have a pile of wooden coasters and baseball caps to paint up so those will be fun pieces. Most of my pieces begin with inspiration from a photograph captured in a beautiful setting, and sometimes my art is my experimental creations of imaginary shapes and colors.
This Seattle sunrise photo I took from the popular, Kerry Park, was transformed into a painting - blending place, memory, and color into something uniquely expressive. From there I’ve carried this over onto coffee mugs and other products alongside it's GPS coordinates, connecting each design back to its exact location.
The products and paintings are endless so if you see one of my paintings, or a style of painting you would like to see on a product of any sorts, email me and I’d love to consider creating something personalized for you. I’m currently working on a book cover for a client. You never know where these wonderful opportunities will take you.

As the winter brings the shorter, darker days, I’m enjoying that extra time puttering in my art studio. I’m taking more intentional time to slow down and paint subjects that inspire me most this season - crisp fall landscapes & peaceful winter scenes. I’ve had time to take on a couple of commissions and play with painting on wood surfaces and a snowboard. This creative stretch is not just restorative; it’s also part of my preparation for the upcoming summer art markets where I look forward to sharing new work.
Thank you for being part of this adventure! This has been a fulfilling experience and I’m deeply grateful for all of the encouragement, interest and support you’ve shown along the way. I can’t wait for you to see what blooms in the months ahead.

It’s been 6 months as an official LLC business and I wish I had more time to paint and create! Between my recent travels to beautiful places and friends sharing their inspirational photos of mountains, beaches, sunsets, & orcas - my head is swirling with ideas! Thank you all for being so supportive and sharing your favorite places and special moments.
The outdoor farmers and art market season is successfully wrapped up for me. The fall & winter seasons will be a good time to organize my materials, painting projects and orders. The outdoor art market community is a wonderful group of creatives and I look forward to explore collaborative business opportunities that have presented themselves.
Holidays are nearing and I’ll work on having some holiday gift items available for purchase through this online store/shop. Keep checking in and reach out if you are looking for any particular image on any object. I’m always open to explore the possible. NEW PAINTINGS:
Blue Octopus. Done! This 20”H x 16”W was a fun one! I have some fun thoughts on reprinting Blue Octopus on some home & living products. Stay tuned to see Blue Octopus turn different colors, too! I’ll be uploading the original into the store for purchase early August.
Seattle Sunrise. UPDATE Aug 2025: Sold! 98% completed. This 10”H x 20”W was inspired by a photo I took on a cold January morning in 2017 from Kerry Park, Seattle, WA. I think I like the painting better than my photograph (to the right of the painting). The Space Needle is not perfect (tough lines!) but the imperfections add distinct, original-art character. The stadiums and ferris wheel have been enhanced with highlights in their common colors. As I “live” with my paintings for a few weeks and see what else jumps out at me for “fixing” or “enhancing”, I’ll make the tweaks (which no-one seems to notice but me), I’ll sign it and upload early August.
Camano Island Sunset. 95% completed. This 16”H x 20”W is inspired by a friend’s fantastic Camano Island, WA, happy-hour-on-the-deck photo she shared with me. Her comments were, “the mountains are so much larger in real life than what the photo captures”…so I augmented the Olympic Mountain range and added a dramatic cloud formation since I was experimenting with cloud colors. I still need to highlight the water on the original and I’ll probably make another one of these more like the original photo with less dramatic clouds.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
I’ll have a booth at the Seattle, Magnolia Art Market, Aug 23, Aug 30 and Oct 4th. Original acrylic paintings, prints and note cards will be on hand. I’ll see if I can bring some of the products like wine tumblers, puzzles or gift items like that, as well. The holiday season is right around the corner so stock up on gifts now!

The first art festival/market event on 6/21/25 was GREAT fun! Thank you everyone who came out in the drizzle to enjoy all of the talented artist’s booths, music and food trucks! I’m looking forward to another event perhaps later this summer or fall. Now it’s time to get back to my happy place at the easel - get to drawing and painting all of these images swirling through my head. I have a list of over 100 passion-paintings (objects and scenes I can’t wait to paint) and several special projects for customers lined up.

Yippee! I’m prepping for my debut as an emerging artist at my first EVER art festival! Thanks to my friend, Julie, who is sharing her pottery booth, I now have a business license, permit, website, business accounts and taxes. I’m just jumping into the deep end of the pool with this business venture so we’ll see where it goes. I won’t quit my day job yet. :)
